Title: A Brutal End

Theme: Civil War
Materials and techniques: We layered paint and maps to create our composition. We made different marks with color to create a chaotic atmosphere that would communicate the intensity of war. We made an overlay of gray and included the contours of the Gettysburg memorial indicating the end of war.
Did you enjoy this project? We enjoyed working on this project. We enjoyed designing the composition and the spontaneous and varied ideas that made it come about.
About: We chose the Civil War because it was a major catalyst in American History that happened really close to where we live.
