About: We looked at the title of the Poem “From Shackles to Scholars and decided that we would get our symbols from it. We thought that we could include a man breaking his shackles and reaching for a Geometry textbook. We did some research and found a real life author for the book. Together, we decided that we would use solid, bold colors to show the importance of school.
