Beads, embroidery floss, and upholstery fabric.
These leaves were sewn by students in the kindergarten and 1st grade class with assistance from 5th grade helpers. It was hard for many to give away their leaves because they enjoyed the process so much. We will do more sewing in the coming months.

Fabric, batting, embroidery thread, and sewn in leaf shapes.
Students wanted to keep edges unfinished because it made the leaves look more “leafy” and not like pillows. The leaves were made by members of the O’Connor Friends Club, they are students with and without disabilities.
